Tebodin assisted in development of new ISO 55000 standard on Asset Management

In February this year the new international standard ISO 55000 on Asset Management has been introduced as the successor of the PAS 55. The ISO 55000 describes the requirements for the maintenance of assets, from the perspective of the asset owner or contractor. Examples of these requirements are: maintenance policy and strategy, maintenance processes and organization, enablers such as IT-systems, documentation, training and continuous improvement.

One of our asset management experts, Leendert Dekker, participated as a member of the international standardization committee in the development of this standard. Of course Tebodin was present at the launch of the ISO 55000 standard in the Netherlands at the 12th of March. With this ISO 55000 knowledge Tebodin can help our clients to implement state of the art asset management and lead them to certification as well.
