Especially when it comes to the engineering and construction of production facilities for the food industry, the precision of the design remains to be key to realize the project successfully. The application of 3D models in virtual reality enables Bilfinger Tebodin to visualize the designed future plant already in early engineering phases.

Our customers can are able walk around in their future production plant and explore it. This option offers many advantages. Not only does the Virtual Reality concept help to align expectations, but also supports us in identifying and resolving complex technical challenges and potential issues that otherwise may have come to light only during the construction phase. Making changes in this phase of the project are often accompanied by essential cost increases. Thus, the application of Virtual Reality results in higher efficiency throughout the course of the project and leads to an enormous cost reduction.

Furthermore, the 3D design grants our clients the possibility to check the functionality and the maintainability of the production facility and to identify possible obstacles early. In addition, it can help to convince project stakeholders and investors.
