Collaborating with Rusagro on the largest meat-processing complex in the Far East

At the end of 2021, state officials visited the future largest meat-processing plant in the Far East of Russia. Rusagro Group is collaborating with Bilfinger Tebodin for managing this big pig-breeding project. The governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako and the management of Rusagro group were updated on the progress of construction and had a tour around the facility.

The total capacity of the future factory will be 80,000 tons of pork per year. The factory will be fully equipped with cold processing, packaging, and meat storage technologies. Once operational, it will create more than 1,500 new jobs.

Bilfinger Tebodin has started cooperation with Rusagro in 2020, providing the project audit and recommendations for improvement of the project management system. Currently, our team provides project management services based on those recommendations, using highly effective LEAN construction and project management tools such as LEAN last planner, visual management boards, plan-do-check-act forms and templates.

Rusagro has recently started commissioning of the first production line. In six months, the project team plans to launch the second line and put the facility into operation.
