Opening of RMA’s pipeline equipment plant in Russia

The official opening ceremony of the pipeline equipment plant of RMA Rheinau GmbH & Co. took place in the special economic zone ‘Alabuga,’ in Russia.

Tebodin’s office Ekaterinburg started with the concept design for this EPCm project in the middle of 2012. The project consisted of two buildings: production shop and social building of an overall area of approximately 8,800 m². The main production line of the new plant consists of the fabrication of ball valves in diameter from 400 mm up to 1,400 mm. These valves are required to transfer pipelines. The scope of work included concept, basic and detailed engineering, procurement of the construction contractor, construction management and supervision and permitting. The construction of the plant – by general contractor Stroyinvest - started on March 2013 and already by May 2014 it obtained the operation permit. Such good results were achieved due to a well-coordinated and efficient work between Tebodin and RMA’s project teams.
