MGC Specialty Chemicals Netherlands groundbreaking ceremony


Representatives from Bilfinger Tebodin and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC) attended the groundbreaking ceremony, organized by MGC Specialty Chemicals Netherlands, that took place on April 20th, 2022 in the port of Rotterdam following pure Japanese tradition.

On behalf of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC), Bilfinger Tebodin is providing the complete EPCm scope of their new Meta-xylenediamine (MXDA) plant in Rotterdam. This new plant is in line with MGC strategy to expand its production capacity of MXDA in Europe to meet the market growth in the epoxy, polyamide and isocyanate sector. MGC is constructing a 25,000 MTA plant in Rotterdam through its newly established subsidiary MGC Specialty Chemicals Netherlands B.V. (MSCN) The new plants is scheduled to start its operation in mid-2024.
