Gas treatment plants in Romania

04/28/2015

In Romania, Tebodin provides detailed design services to a joint venture between Max Streicher and Bilfinger EMS in developing two lean gas treatment plants with a maximum capacity of 1M Sm3/day.
The treatment will consist of gas/liquid separation, gas treatment and condensate stabilization of the well fluids.

The produced gas is dehydrated and stripped of heavy hydrocarbons to comply with pipeline export specifications. Bilfinger EMS has expertise in the gas treatment equipment and will develop the design and together with Max Streicher will build the plants. Tebodin will support the project with the detailed engineering for the off skid works, such as interconnecting piping, pipelines, electrical, foundations, internal roads and site drainage.
One of the project objectives and design challenges is to standardize the design as much as possible so that the concept can be applied on more locations, the project development period can be shortened and costs can be optimized.
