Shaping a persona of an ideal BIM coordinator

A typical BIM coordinator’s tasks and responsibilities is a combination of strong technical knowledge, management and soft skills. This person is creating a digital investment model and cares of its management at every stage of the project – from concept, through construction, to the subsequent maintenance of the completed asset. He or she enables a continuous and immediate access to information about the project, its’ costs and schedules.

Together with students, Izabella shaped a persona of an ideal BIM coordinator and shared the biggest BIM challenges that design companies are facing. Students learned about Bilfinger Tebodin’s approach and tailored solutions, standards and workflows. They had a great opportunity to see the use of BIM technology in real projects – from the design concept phase to the implementation of construction works.

At Bilfinger Tebodin, we are constantly looking for young talents and aiming to extend our internship program. Click here to read more about it and apply.
