Bilfinger Tebodin completes solar power projects for Polenergia

08/23/2022

Bilfinger Tebodin provided contract engineer’s service for the investment. The complex of photovoltaic farms Sulechów II and Sulechów III consists of 22 photovoltaic installations, each with a capacity of up to 1 MWp.

The facilities are located in Kruszyna, close to Sulechów City, Poland. More than 40,000 photovoltaic modules have been installed on the area of 45 ha. The power of a single double-sided solar panel is 540 kWp.

Photovoltaics are environmentally friendly and are proven to have no impact on local communities. It does not emit CO2 or any other harmful substances. Solar panels also do not cause noise or vibration, and they are maintenance-free.

Project insights

The construction phase lasted from June 2021 until March 2022. The investment has obtained an occupancy permit in April 2022. The panels are already operational.

The works for Polenergia included a wide scope of services, such as revision of design documentation, project management during the construction phase, investor supervision services, contract administration, advising on formal and legal issues related to the investment process”, says Michał Fórmaniak, Project Manager at Bilfinger Tebodin.

Solar energy projects are a continuation of a good cooperation with Polenergia on other renewable investments, e.g. Szymankowo 38 MW wind farm. Bilfinger Tebodin is proud to cooperate with one of the leaders of Polish energy market transformation through the development of renewable energy sources. We value sustainable approach and follow renewable principles in our projects, strategies, and operations.
