Bilfinger Tebodin challenged students during the TU Delft Company Days

As part of the TU Delft Company Days, last month a group of graduate students took on our Zero Carbon Challenge in our office in Schiedam, the Netherlands, organized by our consultancy department.

After a briefing on the Bilfinger Tebodin proposition for Cradle-to-Cradle and Life Cycle Costing, the group was divided into three. The three groups set out to evaluate options for reducing the CO2 footprint of an existing plant. The case created positive awareness with the participating students on the magnitude of emissions and showed them questions that the industry is being confronted with and the role that they can take themselves as engineer or consultant at Bilfinger Tebodin in answering these questions.

Without exception, the students were excited about the afternoon. Even though most of them won't graduate until after summer, they all registered with recruitment for possible further steps.
