The start of construction at Octapharma-Pharmimex

09.09.2021

Octapharma-Pharmimex starts the construction of a residential area to support their greenfield plant in Skopin, Russia. It will be a part of Octapharma-Phamimex’s future pharmaceutical complex for a full-cycle production of medicines based on human blood plasma. Octapharma-Pharmimex is a joint venture of Pharmimex, a large Russian pharmaceutical distributor, and Octapharma, the world’s largest privately owned and independent plasma fractionator.

Bilfinger Tebodin performs project and construction management, including supervision services. The construction of apartments for the future plant staff is planned to be accomplished by 2022. As a result, a completely new infrastructure will appear on a land plot of 8,5 ha, speeding up the development of Skopin town into a new pharmaceutical cluster.

Artem Lastochkin, project manager: ‘Bilfinger Tebodin is proud to partner with Octapharma-Pharmimex for this outstanding project with elaborated infrastructure for the future pharma plant. As usual, we will apply the principles of lean construction management to meet the deadlines and arrange site works in a safe way.’
