New circular initiative for the chemical industry – watch the video!
At Bilfinger Tebodin, we optimally support our clients in the industrial energy transition and help them to reach their CO2 reduction goals in a sustainable and profitable way. To be a leading Engineering & Consultancy firm in this field, we have to be innovative. In one of our core markets, the Chemical industry we observed barriers for companies to implement circular initiatives. To start a circular initiative in the Chemical industry we decided to participate in the THRIVE Purpose Accelerator Project.
Over the course of one year, Consultants and Engineers of Bilfinger Tebodin cooperated with PhD students of various universities in the Netherlands to create and implement a circular initiative in the Dutch Chemical industry. They started with identifying the barriers for the Dutch Chemical industry to go circular. After conducting in-depth interviews with 22 Chemical companies, they invented a platform at which Chemical companies can find each other to cooperate on Circular initiatives and to create synergies. The next step is to implement the platform. Conversations on this are currently being held.
On Thursday November 7, the closing event of the THRIVE Purpose Accelerator Event took place. Learn more about this project by watching the video!
