Recently, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Tebodin organized the business network event ‘Dutch Business Drinks’. This event was hosted at the Embassy in Moscow and gathered more than 70 representatives from Dutch companies and people active in Russian, and international companies.
Ambassador Mrs. Renée Jones-Bos and Mikhail Senichev, Tebodin’s Country Director, warmly welcomed the attendees. During her speech, Mrs Jones-Bos noted a positive tendency in business relations between the two countries: Dutch export to Russia has risen over 30% in the first half of this year. In her speech, she referred to her visit to Nizhny Novgorod and the history in that region going back to the early nineties when over 20 cooperative projects had been started, resulting in technical collaboration and partnerships.
As international consultancy and engineering company, Tebodin has played a major role in building those relationships by starting its first project in Russia in the nineties in Nizhniy Novgorod. It was both engineering and ecological challenge, aimed to redesign the central heating plant in Bolshoye Murashkino and reduce CO2 emissions. ‘Wandering through that list I several times saw the name of Tebodin, in projects in the chemical sector, in carbon dioxide reduction and help for the construction of a pharmaceutical plant. The company is connected with our economic roots in Russia, with our start with PSO - Program for cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe -’, commented Mrs. Jones-Bos.
