Together with DCMU, Development Corporation of Middle Ural, a specialized subsidiary of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, Tebodin organized a business breakfast for companies active in the chemical market, in order to discuss the influence of global trends on the chemical industry (coating materials) in Russia.
Several clients and business partners from Tebodin participated in the event. From Tebodin, Niek de Koning (Director Global Pharmaceutical Projects), Roy Piek (Director Business Unit PMC) and Ruslana Turkenova (Permitting specialist) gave insight into the global trends of the chemical market and outlined the specifics of hazardous production locations, based on real project cases.
Among the speakers were also a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the CEO of Chemical Industrial Park Tagil and the Executive director of Development Corporation of Middle Ural. Topics discussed were the instruments of Government support for chemical manufacturers in Russia, some regional cases as well as the regional development institutes for industrial production support.
'Chemicals remains a growth industry at global level, being the 'industry of industries ‘and benefitting from changing population and societies. Russia is following the overall trend by developing industrial zones and incentives for localization of production', concludes Niek de Koning.
