General Motors Manufacturing Poland, is a component of Opel / Vauxhall, which is the European branch of General Motors. The plant produces passenger cars and engines. The company’s headquarters is located in Gliwice where the Opel Astra and Opel Cascada models are produced. The Gliwice plant is the main GM production site in Poland and has a production capacity of 207,000 units per year.

Bilfinger Tebodin provided PMC services - project and construction management, site supervision, industrial safety supervision. The main challenge was to realize the expansion without interruption of the ongoing operations; therefore, Bilfinger Tebodin executed a case study.
