Oil & Gas
Projects in the oil and gas industry maintain rigorous standards for safety, quality, health and environment, while undertaking serious efforts to optimize exploration and production locations. Storage and transport is executed in such ways that the possible political situation does not affect the continuous flow of oil and gas to the global economy. In this sector we have built up a wealth of experience and know-how, providing services for many market leaders in exploration and production, transport, storage, refining and retail.
Framework agreement with European gas infrastructure company Gasunie for the engineering of large and small multidisciplinary projects in the Netherlands.
NET4GAS connects Central and Eastern Europe with cross-border internconnectors and underground gas storages (UGS). The connection of UGS Tvrdonice to the main gas transit pipeline system was un unusual project. The pipeline is only a little two km long, but its realization required agreements with more than 300 land owners, and the negotiations resulted in the singing of more than 170 easement contracts. Tebodin prepared the permitting documentation and delivered services related to the permitting process and land issues.
NAM is the largest gas producer in the Netherlands. In 2012 Cofely, Tebodin and A.Hak, who have worked together for NAM for over 10 years, signed a new 5-year contract for the engineering, procurement and implementation of all NAM onshore projects. The three parties joined their forces in the new established company ‘aQuaintance’, This framework contract is essential for the continuation of NAM's strategy to develop small gas fields onshore.

SEIC was keen to improve the maintenance effectiveness and efficiency of its on-shore oil and gas production facilities. Together with Bilfinger Industrial Services, Tebodin was responsible for an analysis of the maintenance process and a report with the define effective improvement actions. The work started with an asset management analysis (using a spider web tool), and an in-detail check of the maintenance management system. The challenge was to define practical measures leading to the required results that actually work under local conditions.
In line with their growth program, DUGAS expanded their MTBE plant to increase its production capacity from 500,000 to 675,000 million tons per year. Also the construction of additional butane/propane storage tanks and associated dedicated refrigeration system using vapor recovery compression for re-liquefaction consisted to this project. Tebodin executed the detailed design of the expansion of the Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) plant, prepared ion the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) tender package for the storage facility. Tebodin also prepared the Environmental Impact Assessment report for the additional butane storage facility.
The large Engineering and Maintenance contract (EMC) for PDO encompasses oil and gas projects in the North PDO concession area of Oman. The workf of joint-venture STS-Tebodin includes all on-plot engineering, procurement services, construction, commissioning besides management services and maintenance support of all new projects and upgrades or changes.
