The world is increasingly becoming a global village, with connections made over vast distances. Distribution of gas and electricity, fixed and mobile networks, new hubs for airports, roads - all call for a massive increase in volume and quality of infrastructure. Ambitious projects have to take into account traffic, constructions, public utility and energy systems, surface water, sewage, signage and the environment.
New terminal (Terminal D) Boryspil International Airport. As a contractor of JAC, Tebodin carried out the conceptual and basic design and was also responsible for the tender package (its specifications) and procurement assistance. With a team of thirty experts, Tebodin provided JAC with design and engineering services, assistence during the conceptual phase, development of the basic design and assistence in the permitting procedures.
KIZAD (Khalifa Port Industrial Zone – Abu Dhabi), with its 417 km² of industrial land will be creating a wealth of opportunities on a global scale. The entire Khalifa port area that includes KIZAD is being managed by ADPC (Abu Dhabi Ports Company). Under a framework contract Tebodin executed the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for the gas network in KIZAD Area-A. Objective of the project was to supply sales gas to the different industrial consumers in the area. The design included the review of pipeline corridor, hydraulic analysis of the pipeline network, developing the network design, metering of the gas and several HSE studies.
Framework contract that involves the management of the signposting on the Dutch state highways network and provincial roads in Overijssel and South Holland. This includes among other things drawing up signposting plans and checking the location of signs. Maintaining a database for signposting forms part of the contract.
Port of Gdynia
A new ferry terminal in the Port of Gdynia in Poland will allow operating larger vessels and offer better services. Tebodin designed a new quay, terminal building, cargo storehouse and maneuvering yards. The scope of work is: conceptual design, building permig design and execution design for the new terminal. The work includes preparing the geotechnical survey, cost estimate and environmental impact report.
The Northern coast of emirate Ajman will become a premium tourist destination, developed by the Al Zorah Development Company. Tebodin was asked by China Harbour Engineering Company to help them complete the project in full compliance with all relevant local and international health, safety and environmetnal regulations. Tebodin performed the environmental monitoringf for stage 1 (construction of quay wall and was appointed as construction safety consultant for stage 2. Frequent site inspections, a construction manual and on-site safety awareness training were deliverd.
