The chemical industry has always been one of Bilfinger Tebodin’s core markets, starting in West Europe. We have executed numerous projects for various clients. Many of the multinationals from the West move into other parts of the world to start production close to the markets that they serve. Simultaneously, we see a movement to start production close to the feedstock source. Whatever the reason for relocation, many of these companies have chosen Bilfinger Tebodin to accompany them.

Plastics for oil and chemical markets
Tebodin has worked for Borouge in China and United Arab Emirated. In Abu Dhabi, Tebodin has executed a feasibility study, conceptual, structural and HSE design as well as overall project management for the new training center for Borouge's production plant Ruwais. The project in Shanhai, China concerned an EPCm contract for a compounding production facility.
Borouge is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, one of the world's leading oil and gas companies, and the Austria based Borealis, a leading provider of chemical and innovative plastics solutions.
Tebodin in Czech Republic worked together with chemical company Spolchemie on a new low molecular resin production facility and was responsible for the conceptual design, basic design, and the documentation for building permit
Mechanical completion of the carbon black Xingtai project in Xingtai, China, for which Tebodin provided FEED and EPCm services. By November 2013, the site total safe working man-hours were over 3 million without any LTI.
EPCm services for capacity increase for a waterborne decorative paint plant in Binh Duong, Vietnam. Recently, we have worked for AkzoNobel in Frankfurt, Germany and in China (Suzhou and Shenzhen).
