Project: Heinz Innovation Centre
Location: Nijmegen, the Netherlands
For this project, Tebodin did the project management, architectural design, technical design and construction management. Because of unique design, the building is relatively flat but looks tall because mostly vertical elements are used. The façade is composed of alternating composite and glass panels, fetched in dark anodized aluminium mullions adding up to a curtain wall. The use of composite and aluminium add great value to the sustainability of the building.
Havenbedrijf Rotterdam N.V.
Project: Verkeerscentrale Hoek van Holland
Location: Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands
Havenbedrijf Rotterdam N.V. develops and controls all facilities in the harbour and is responsible for the safety of shipping in an area of 11,000 hectare. The traffic center in the harbour was redesigned by Tebodin, by making use of an integral approach in cooperation with several disciplines. Tebodin was involved throughout the whole construction process to make sure that no expertise or knowledge was lost during the construction phase.
Shell International Exploration & Production (SIEP)
Name project: Shell SIEP
Location: Rijswijk, the Netherlands
The existing laboratory of Shell in Rijswijk has been transformed into the head quarter for Shell International Exploration & Production on world class level. The Shell Rijswijk complex has a total floor surface of 60.000 m2 and consists of renovated offices, a laboratory building, a learning centre and underground parking facility. Tebodin was responsible for the overall design, the design of HVAC and electrical installations, project management and construction supervision of the project.
Delta Lloyd FSB
Project: Toorop building
Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Due to the aging of the installations in the Toorop-building in Amsterdam, several renovations were needed. Tebodin was commissioned to identify and describe all technical problems of the installations and also supported the client with project management. The installations were renovated radically or completely renewed, together with the substitution of the building management system and renovation of the control boxes. Moreover, Tebodin helped renovating the Digital Archive, the computer centre of Delta Lloyd.
Heineken International BV
Project: Renovation head office Heineken
On the request of Heineken International B.V., Tebodin did the design and project management of the renovation of the A/WET’s office complex in Amsterdam. This building, with a total surface of 9.000 square meters, was used by the board of Heineken International B.V. and consists of four different building components. One of them – Villa – is a monument in which the Heineken family used to live.
Besides the project management, design and engineering, Tebodin was responsible for the building-, monuments and demolition permits.
Project: A new biopharmaceutical laboratory in one year
Location: Nijmegen, the Netherlands
To facilitate a rapid expansion of their biopharmaceutical activities, Synthon needed to speed up the design and construction process for its new pharmaceutical laboratory and office building in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Tebodin, in cooperation with a fully integrated team consisting of the client, architect, engineers and contractors, succeeded to deliver the building within only one year. The project comprises 7,000 m2, consisting of 2,000 m2 fully furnished biopharmaceutical labs, a GMP warehouse and offices. Tebodin was responsible for the overall project management, engineering HVAC and electrical systems, permitting and authority coordination and construction supervision.
Project: Cooling installation Waterland Ziekenhuis
Location: Purmerend, the Netherlands
In cooperation with Floresteyn, an independent project management and consultancy firm, Tebodin does several complex projects in the health care industry. For a new cooling installation in the Waterland hospital in Purmerend, the Netherlands, Tebodin performed a feasibility study and was responsible for the design and project management. The installation consists of existing cooling machines, supplemented with a new ground storage for cold buffering for the purpose of extra cold release through the new cooling ceilings.
