Project: Engineering and Maintenance Service Contract
Location: Oman

Based on this Engineering and Maintanance Contract (EMC), joint venture Special Technical Services (STS) and Tebodin & Partner provide all on-plot engineering, procurement services, construction and commissioning besides management services and maintenance support of all new projects and all upgrades or changes of existing projects. This EMC encompasses various small to medium sized oil and gas projects in the Northern PDO concession area of Oman. The contract was awarded to STS-Tebodin in 2011 for a period of seven years with the option of an extension for up to three years.

Project: FEED for Butane Storage Facility
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Tebodin executed FEED services for the expansion of the Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) plant to increase its production capacity from 500,000 to 675,000 million tons per year. Tebodin also did the detailed design of the expansion and was involved in a related project: additional butane/propane storage tanks and associated dedicated refrigeration system using vapor recovery compression for re-liquefaction. Part of this additional project was FEED of the pumps for product transfer, piping and instrumentation associated with the new tanks and tie in of the new tank  into the existing cool down and offloading system.

Project: Installation of ESPs
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

To combat the decline in oil production in the existing Umm Al Dalkh field, ZADCO is installing the Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) at well head platforms in various phases.

Tebodin performed EPCm services for phase I, II, III and IV of this project.

Tebodin's scope of work consisted of basic and detailed design for the gas distribution header and pipeline system and project management services and site supervision.

Project: New aviation fuel depot - Abu Dhabi Airport
Location: Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi International Airport is planning to expand due to the increase in aviation traffic projections. A totally independent new depot is being constructed to cater to the increased consumption of fuel. The feasibility study for this was done by Tebodin, due to the good work done in the study stage. The FEED phase has been awarded to Tebodin. This was the first of its kind to be handled by Tebodin.

Project: Carbon Capture project
Location: Abu Dhabi

State–owned Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) is developing this project with three aims of reducing greenhouse gas in the United Arab Emirates, making carbon dioxide (CO2) available for enhanced oil recovery and freeing up natural gas for domestic use.
The project involves collection of CO2 from the Emirates steel plant at Mussafah. This is then compressed and dehydrated and transported through pipelines for injection into the Rumaitha onshore field south of Abu Dhabi City. Tebodin is doing the detail engineering.

Project: Acid gas enrichment project
Location: Abu Dhabi

Tebodin studied  the commercially proven available technologies in the market for CO2 recovery and acid gas enrichment. They also analyzed potential options on qualitative techno-economic approaches with adequate emphasis to efficient energy utilization to engineering level of Pre-FEED stage. They then prepared comparative options ranking criteria and performed preliminary economic and energy utilization analyses of the schemes considered, thus establishing the recommended options short list for further development.
