Tebodin Ukraine was responsible for the overall design of the new passenger terminal and completed the contract within six months. The new terminal - with the total area of 41,000 m2 - includes a four-story car park and open air parking.

Project: Construction of Terminal 'D' of Boryspil International airport
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
The steadily growing passenger flow at Boryspil has merited several upgrades to increase the airport’s capacity. The existing terminal B was built in 1965 and reconstructed to handle up to 1,600 passengers an hour in 2005. However, Ukraine’s geographical position and economic development have made even faster growth a likely prospect. In future international airline traffic, Boryspil is expected to function as one of Eastern Europe’s main hubs. The new terminal D will ultimately accommodate more than 2,000 passengers an hour, bringing the total Boryspil capacity to an annual 3.5 million passengers. In a major contribution to the airport’s comprehensive modernization project, Tebodin Ukraine was working on the new Terminal D as a contractor of Japan Airport Consultants Inc.
Tebodin scope: General Designer carrying out the conceptual and basic design and being also responsible for the tender specifications and procurement assistance. In the next phase of the project, Tebodin was selected by Turkish Construction Consortium Dogus-Alarco for execution of detail design (architectural and civil parts and Master Plan), adaptation of mechanical and electrical parts of detail design, and co-ordination of the overall design works.
